How we work

Talk, look, plan. Then we build.

Every piece of work follows the same four steps. Nothing gets built until you’ve seen the plan and agreed to it.

Talk

First, we listen.

It starts with a free call. You tell us where the business is, where you want it to be and what’s in the way. We ask a lot of questions and do very little selling. If we can’t help, we’ll say so.

What we cover

  • Where you are
  • Where you want to be
  • What’s in the way
  • If we can help

From you

Time for a conversation, and honesty about what isn’t working.

Look

Then we look at the real work.

Before we suggest anything, we look at how work actually moves through the business: how enquiries come in, how quotes go out, what happens after a job and where the hours go. That’s where time and money slip away, and it isn’t always where you’d expect.

What we look at

  • Enquiries
  • Quotes
  • Admin
  • Hours that disappear

From you

A look at how things run today, from your website to your inbox. In person where it helps, online where it doesn’t.

Plan

A plan you actually understand.

You get a plan in clear phases, written in plain English. Each phase says what changes, why it matters and what it involves. Before any work starts, you get the scope and price in writing, and nothing is built until you’ve agreed to it.

What you get

  • Clear phases
  • What each step changes
  • Plain English
  • Agreed before we build

From you

A decision, in your own time.

Build and improve

We build it. Then we make it better.

We build what the plan needs, one phase at a time, so you see each piece working before the next one starts. Then we measure what changed and keep improving what works.

What we measure

  • Enquiries coming in
  • How quickly they’re answered
  • Quotes sent and won
  • Hours spent on admin

From you

Feedback on what’s working for you and your customers.

See what we build

Every time

What stays the same, whatever we build.

Plain English

No jargon and no vague retainers. If we can’t explain it simply, we shouldn’t be selling it.

In writing

Scope and price agreed in writing before any work starts.

Honest advice

If something isn’t worth it for your business, we’ll tell you. Saying no to the wrong work is part of the job.

Small steps

One change at a time, each one measured, so you can see what’s working.

Same hands

The person who plans the work is the person who builds it. No handovers.

Someone who stays

No big relaunch followed by silence. We stay to measure and improve.

The first step is a conversation.

A free first call, with no obligation. If we can’t help, we’ll say so.
